Bass fuzz plugin

Aminato

The rare Japanese fuzz that bass players hunt for, as a plugin.

Aminato is a faithful recreation of the Human Gear Animato* pedal: the thick, treble-forward, attacking fuzz the hardware is known for, with controls that behave the way the pedal's do.

Introductory price, in Australian dollars. Usually A$59.

Aminato plugin interface

A faithful recreation

Aminato was built from studying two physical pedals, and a lot of time spent modelling the tone exactly. It was compared against the hardware again and again until the plugin responded the way the pedals do.

The result is the pedal's sound and feel in your session, with the two things a recording needs added: a clean blend and a noise gate.

Controls

DIST
From a rough edge to full, sustaining fuzz, changing character as the pedal does.
TONE
From thick and dark to bright and cutting.
VOL
Output level, with plenty in hand.
BLEND
Mixes your clean bass back in, the classic way to keep the low end under a fuzz.
GATE
Closes on hiss between notes without chewing up their tails.
Footswitch
Click-free bypass.

The trial is the full plugin. Without a licence key it goes silent for 5 seconds out of every 40. Buy a key, paste it in once, and it is unlocked for good. It works offline and there is no account to create.
