This page explains what Gromtech Effects collects when you use this website or buy a plugin, and why.

Visiting the site

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics. It does not use cookies and does not identify you; it tells us which pages are read and roughly where visitors come from.

We also use a Meta (Facebook) pixel. It tells Meta that someone visited, started a purchase, downloaded the trial or bought, so that we can see which of our ads work and show ads to people who have been here. It uses cookies, and Meta may link this to your Facebook or Instagram account. You can limit this in your Facebook ad settings, or with your browser's tracking protection.

Buying a plugin

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your card details. Stripe gives us your email address and what you bought, which we use to issue your licence key and to help you if something goes wrong.

Your licence key contains your email address. It is stored on your own computer by the plugin and is not sent anywhere when the plugin runs. The plugin does not connect to the internet.

What we do not do

We do not sell your details, and we do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.
